Organic Cracked Corn Expected to Arrive in June

 

Organic corn prices are edging higher. Prices in May traded near $8.90 picked up at the farm in the Quebec region. Organic corn prices are offered near $9.20 per bushel picked up for new-crop corn in the Quebec region. Organic corn traded as high as $9.60 per bushel in the Quebec area during May. Prices are at similar levels in the mid-west.

Trucking rates are hovering near $3.25 per mile, helping to drive up the cost of organic corn to the coasts. In Pennsylvania, prices are near the $12 level, and prices are hovering near the same level in California.
