DCO Production Hits Multi Month High

The market was very quiet today with a number of market participants in Nashville, TN for the American Fats and Oils Association meeting. There was a record high attendance for the event this year. There is support in the market for higher renderer BFT prices on tight supplies. 

The EIA estimated ethanol production up to 1.032 million barrels per day for last week, the highest weekly estimate since the week ending July 9th. The increase is a sign that the industry is coming out of seasonal maintenance and ramping up production for the fourth quarter. Distillers corn oil production is estimated at 9.8 million pounds per day, up 5.5 percent from last week and up 4.9 percent from the 2018/2019 average…
