European organic soybean meal prices have not eased. Merchandisers tell Fastmarkets/The Jacobsen that organic soybean meal delivered to Denmark is trading over €1200, or $1,400 per metric ton. This level equates to approximately $1,540 per short ton. Even with lower duties on organic soybean meal from China and India, Europe is not getting enough organic soybean meal delivered. European organic soybean oil is trading near €1,450 metric tons delivered.
During the last two months, European organic soybean prices have increased significantly to the extent that even finding offers is challenging.
