Prices Steady Despite Lower Bids

Hide bidding over the weekend carried into the beginning of the week at steady price levels. Several US packers reported price resistance to their offer lists last week but held firm at the steady levels. A few reported lower volume last week compared than the previous because of the lack of interest from China at the flat prices. Several packers expressed they will continue prices at steady levels on their offering lists again this week.
