With the most recent release of the USDA Fats and Oils: Oilseed Crushings, Production, Consumption and Stocks report, a year-over-year decrease of 8.3 to 28.3 percent has been witnessed throughout the 2021. Year-to-date production as of October is at 846 million pounds, a significant drop of 16.7 percent or 170 million pounds compared to the Jan – October period for 2020.
