According to the EIA’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report, daily ethanol production continues to soar as it hit the fifth highest rate on record. For the first time in four weeks ethanol production did not hit an all time high, as it came in at 972,000 barrels per day, 20,000 b/d below last weeks rate. The drop in production brought demand for corn from the ethanol industry down to 14.48 million bushels per day, a decline of 13,169 daily…
