Strong demand from India helps to buoy December palm exports

 Over the final 6 days of December, palm oil shipments to India were 142,720 metric tons, boosting their total for the month to 379,720 MT, according to cargo surveyor Intertek Testing. Palm oil shipments to India were 33% stronger in December then they were in November. The EU also had stronger export totals month-over-month, while shipments to the Middle East and China were down.
