Biodiesel Activity 

The bean oil/heating oil spread rose for the second day in a row, expanding by just over four cents to 52 cents per gallon. A rise in feedstock cost/soybean oil was behind the move. Soybean oil futures ended the day up 1.12 cents per pound to 31.71 cents.  This would have added 8.2 cents to the BO-HO if it were not for a four cent rise in heating oil futures. The HO move limited the BO-HO rise to four cents.
