Ethanol production moves higher, stocks at highest level since 6/15/12

According to the EIA’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report, ethanol production increased 1.4% to 961,000 barrels per day (b/d), which is the 13^th highest weekly production rate on record. The rise in production expanded the ethanol industry’s demand for corn to 14.31 million bushels per day, a 194,000 daily bushel a day increase from the prior weeks average.
