Trading was very quiet this afternoon with only a handful of trucks trading at $368 for ruminant MBM out of the Mo. River. Both buyers and sellers were quiet on directional outlooks, but the dynamics continue to look the same, i.e. more supply than demand. 

The protein market continues to be supply driven with prices falling again last week. Heavy porcine supplies are weighing down the ruminant market, which should be fairly tight due to very low kill…
