Cat 3 prices in the EU are off sharply with lard falling 55€ and edible tallow 25€ from the last report. Oleo chemical demand in the EU is still a bit sluggish. Cat 1 tallow values have increased over the last week with values reported in a 385 – 400€ range ex-works. UCO prices are also higher with sources reporting good Q2 demand for UCOME. Tight supplies in the EU have also pushed values higher….
