Distillers Corn Oil Production

According to the EIA’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report, ethanol production dropped 1.69% to 931,000 barrels per day (b/d) and stocks slipped 0.31% to 21.528 million barrels. The lower production narrowed the ethanol industry’s demand for corn to 13.87 million bushels per day from 14.1 m/b, a 238,000 bushel a day decrease from the prior weeks average.
