Market Activity

Ruminant MBM moved higher today with strong volume seen out of a number of markets. Mo. River action was reported at $385 – 395 and panhandle trading was done in a wide range, $365 – 399. Trading was done higher out of the IL and IL renderer markets, $395 and $365 respectively. Sellers continue to push for higher prices basis tight kills while buyers are pointing at a favorable soybean meal price and putting up resistance.
