Animal Fats – International

It’s been a mostly quiet week in the international marketplace coming off of a long holiday weekend. Prices are unchanged in Australia and steady to slightly higher out of the New Zealand market for the 1 and 2% ffa tallows, while 4% and higher have slipped slightly. Overall, most sources in New Zealand are calling the market fairly flat. Slaughter in both countries was off last week due to the holiday, and will be again due to holiday time on Monday.
