Malaysian palm oil exports up 10% month over month
A weaker ringgit helped to buoy palm oil exports. As the domestic currency becomes cheaper, exports become more attractive to other countries.
Cargo surveyor Intertek Testing provided data that showed stronger export activity in April 1 through 20 compared to the same period in March. Overall, exports were up nearly 10%, despite crude palm oil (CPO) shipments falling by 65%….
