The market was very quiet today with no trading reported. Sources expressed opinions of continued pressure on the market.

Protein prices trended lower again last week with big losses seen in the feather meal market. The national weekly average was off $18 from the week prior with MO, MN and the Carolinas dropping $33, $30 and $22 respectively. The Mid South and East Coast markets stabilized some last week with relatively minimal losses.
