Trading was mostly quiet in the protein market today with no MBM trading reported. The blood meal market remains red hot with $1450 – 1500 trading out of the Mo. River ruminant market. The porcine market saw action at $1525 FOB Midwest. 

Porcine MBM prices fell $15 last week and are now flirting with the $300 mark for the weekly average. Sources have reported strong supplies and displacement from cheap feed grade PBM as the primary reasons for the drop…
