Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The crush margin moved higher, jumping 9% to $2.25 on stronger meal values and a lower cost for soybeans. The value received from oil and meal sales, per bushel of soybeans crushed, increased by 14 cents per bushel, while the price of soybeans fell 5 cents per bushel. This allowed the estimated margin to increase by 19 cents per bushel, or 8.89%.
