Malaysian palm exports are weak as demand ebbs

Palm exports from Malaysia are down 15.5% over the first twenty days of July. Weaker demand from top importers India, the EU, and China has easily outpaced a surge in demand from the Middle East. Shipments to the Middle East are up 88% or by 28,000 metric tons. However, this is not enough to compensate for the 80,000 metric ton drop in demand from China, India, and the EU combined.
