The Australian and New Zealand markets were quiet this week with a number of industry participants in Australia for the bi-annual Australian Renderers Association Symposium. Reports from the Gold Coast were calling the market steady and firm. Cattle slaughter in Australia was lower again last week, down by just over 1%. Queensland and Victoria saw the biggest drops in slaughter from the week prior.
