NOPA crush figures show 135.3 million bushels crushed for August

The August soybean crush came in at 135.304 million bushels, pretty close to market expectations, down 7% from June but 22% stronger than last seasons August crush. The current 4-month average is 143 million bushels, which is 20% above last seasons pace. August marks the end of the 2014/15 crop season and totaled 1.78 billion bushels for NOPA members.
