Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The crush margin fell 3.4% as an uptick in soybean prices and lower soybean oil values allowed the margin to slip under $2.00 per bushel for the first time in five weeks. The value received from oil and meal sales, per bushel of soybeans crushed, dropped by 4 cents per bushel, while the price of soybeans increased 3 cents per bushel. This allowed the estimated margin to fall 7 cents per bushel.
