Runner Market Commentary

North American runners were quiet this week with no trading reported. An absence of sub-$1.00 pushed the price up $0.08 versus the prior week’s rolling average. EU trading was done in good volume with a total of six containers trading.

A number of sources continue to report that China continues to press for much higher prices. Sources have also stated that this hasn’t spilled into the EU or NA markets yet. US kills remain very high with hog numbers…
