Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The crush margin benefited from better soybean oil and meal values over the past week, despite a slight rise in the cost of soybeans. The margin raised 8.2% as soybean oil prices climbed nearly a penny a pound and meal values increase five dollars per ton. The value received from oil and meal sales, per bushel of soybeans crushed, increase by 20 cents per bushel, while the price of soybeans increased 3 cents per bushel….
