Animal Fats – International

Australian fat pricing in unchanged on little trading activity. Sources suggested pricing in both directions, but most reports have the market firming on higher palm prices and some short positions from the Australian exporters. Slaughter continues to decline rapidly with 2015 numbers now dipping below 2013. National slaughter is off 18% compared to a year ago and 7.5% compared to 2013.
