Market Activity

There was no trading reported in the market this afternoon. Sources continue to suggest that the market is weak, especially with poultry meal and feathermeal markets. MBM reports were quiet today, but sources did reiterate that protein saturation as a whole and not necessarily animal protein supply is the reason for the market weakness. The Friday/Sat cattle slaughter was estimated at 120,000 head today.
