Weekly Recap

January Soybean futures showed promise early on in the week, advancing nearly 9 cents per bushel Monday and Tuesday.  However, Wednesday through Friday saw a steady decline in prices and Jan soybean futures finished the week down 1.5 cents per bushel.  The strong harvest and higher than anticipated stock levels continues to make it hard for the market to gain any upward traction in prices over the short term.
