Soybean futures added to the prior week’s gains with the Jan contract advancing 15.5 cents per bushel and the March up 15 cents. The soybean market saw prices jump 11 cents after the USDA reported 1,178.6 TMT of soybean sales into the export market. Exports sales were down 35% from the prior week for the old crop season and 20% less than the prior 4-week average. Soybean export commitments are 69% of projections with 40 weeks to go.
