Animal Fats

Market Activity

The protein market was very quiet today with the only trading reported coming out of the Mo. River porcine market, $216 – 260 FOB. Sources are reporting pockets of heavy supply in that market, but exports have kept material from building too much.

The Mo. River porcine MBM market is currently at its lowest level since December of 2008.
