Australian fat prices are lower this week, perhaps starting to close the gap to palm products and cheaper US material. Trading out of NZ was up by NZ$5 from last week’s high. Sellers in both markets are reporting good demand from Singapore for Jan and Feb positions. Buyers in China continue to try and push prices lower, with reports of bids NZ$40 – 50 lower than current values.
