Palm Oil Prices Surge Higher as Momentum Accelerates

Crude palm oil prices climbed through mid-week notching up an 8-week high tighter supplies.  It appears that palm oil output growth could drop in Southeast Asia as dry weather erodes yields and lowers productivity.     Malaysian palm output is expected to rise only 0.7 percent in 2016 from a year ago to 20.1 million tons, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board.
