Ruminant MBM trading was up out of the River and Panhandle markets today, $245 – 250 and $200 – 250, respectively. Delivered values into the SE were up, $290 – 300 and $300 – 305 into the Eastern market. Sources continue to cite tight pork and ruminant supplies and strong demand for the upswing. Despite gaining $75 over the last four weeks, Mo. River ruminant MBM still remains less than 100% of the price of nearby SBM.
