Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
Ruminant trading out the Panhandle was done as high as $310 this afternoon for April shipments. The Illinois renderer market traded at $250. Sources continue to comment that the ruminant market is very strong.
Porcine trading was done as low as $250 FOB Mo. River, but the majority of trading is firm at or above $300.
