Gasoline Use Continues to Offset Soft Distillate Demand
Despite stock levels at the upper end of the average range for this time of year, heating oil demand is subdued on a year over year basis. The weather in the United States was warmer than normal, providing the backdrop for declining demand. That being said, the spring is a period when demand usually declines for distillates, and that has led to a reduction in the demand deficit recently seen.
