Bean Meal Breaks Out on Short Covering Rally

Bean meal prices broke out as commodity prices gain traction and beans drove the technical rally in the soybean complex.  Prices rallied nearly 4% this week, as short in the space continue to cover their positions.  Hedge fund traders had added to short positions in the latest week according to the most recent commitment of trader’s report which is likely the force behind the short covering.
