EIA August 2016 Biodiesel Production and Feedstock Use

The EIA’s Monthly Biodiesel Production Report for August shows that 142 million gallons of biodiesel were produced using 1.045 billion pounds of feedstock. This is up from July, where 140 million gallons of production came from 1.025 billion pounds of feedstock.  August 2016 production is 19 million gallons more than what was produced during August of 2015, which used 909 million pounds of feedstock.
