Australian and New Zealand values were both higher this week. Sources in both countries commented that demand from Singapore is very strong as is demand from soap producers in Africa. The higher palm prices have given a boost to the market and this has helped boost demand from China as well. Trading for Australian exports were up by as much as US$60/MT. Trading in NZ by as much as NZ$40, which roughly equates to US$30/MT.
