Market Activity

The fat market was fairly quiet this afternoon, but there were big moves reported in the California yellow grease markets. Sources had been suggesting prices were  higher for the last week, but trading on the higher end was not confirmed until late yesterday. Trading out of the San Francisco market was done as high as $0.2700 FOB with trading reported at $0.2450 – $0.2600 and as low as $0.2150. The LA market saw action in a wide range, $0.2150 to $0.2575….
