Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year totaled 1,399 thousand metric tons (TMT), down 26% from last week and 18% less than the prior 4-week average. New crop sales totaled 66 TMT, lifting combined season sales to 1,465.0 TMT, which placed total sales down 23% week over week. Export sales were within analyst expectations that ranged from 800 to 1,900 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 75% of the USDA forecast with 40 weeks to go….
