Malaysian palm oil exports limp into the end of the year

Malaysian palm oil exports closed out December, as well as 2016, with a whimper.  According to cargo surveyor Intertek Testing, November export activity was 5.7% weaker than what was seen in November and 14.6% less than what was reported for December of 2015. If the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) were to confirm these figures, they would be the weakest monthly exports since February of 2015.
