2017 continues to give the market the cold shoulder.  Strong production leading into the end of the year, attempting to take advantage of the expiring tax credit, has left the market in a production hang-over environment.  Making matters worse, the BTC has lapsed and the blending economics continue to sour.  Fortunately, RINs are beginning to cooperate.
