Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year increased 16% to 623.9 TMT and were 28% more than the prior 4-week average. New crop sales came in as at 351.1 TMT, up 225.1 TMT from last week bringing combined season sales to 975 TMT. Combined sales up 40% week over week, and exceeded analyst expectations that ranged from 450 to 850 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 90% of the USDA forecast with 31 weeks to go.
