Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year jumped 66% to 890 TMT and were 33% more than the prior 4-week average. New crop sales came in as at 207.4 TMT, up 78.1 TMT from last week, bringing combined sales to 1,097.4 TMT. Combined sales were 65% higher week over week and exceeded analyst expectations that ranged from 450 to 800 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 93% of the USDA forecast with 29 weeks to go.
