Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year fell 54% to 413.5 TMT and were 36% less than the prior 4-week average. New crop sales came in as at 256.5 TMT, up 24% from last week, bringing combined sales to 690 TMT. Combined sales were 39% lower week over week and were within analyst expectations that ranged from 650 to 1,150 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 94% of the USDA forecast with 28 weeks to go.
