Ruminant MBM was quiet this afternoon with some steady trading reported in light volume out of the Mo. River and Panhandle markets. Sources commented that pure beef demand remains stout and those with mixed species material were asking steady to higher prices to start the week.

The porcine market continues to get a boost from tightened availability. Values were reported above the $300 mark around the country.
