Crude Oil Finishes a Rough Week

Crude oil prices continue to trade under pressure after attempting to trade higher on Friday. This has been a rough week for WTI, as imports remained strong and production in the United States continue to increase. In its Short Term Energy Outlook for March, the EIA estimate that U.S. crude oil production averaged 8.9 million barrels per day in 2016.
