International Animal Fats

The fat trade in Australia was steady on the 1% grades and lower on the 2, 4 and 10% tallows. Sellers are reporting steady demand, but at lower prices for material destined for Singapore. The continued inverse in the palm markets is pushing export prices lower. Trading out of the NZ market was flat with no changes reported. Sources in NZ have echoed the sentiments of the Aussie sellers, reporting lower bids for May shipment into Singapore. Continued rain…
