Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year slipped 29% to 482 TMT and were 19% less than the prior 4-week average. New crop sales totaled 395.9 TMT, up 25% week over week and lifting combined season sales to 877 TMT. Combined sales were down 12% from last week and in line with analyst expectations that ranged from 400 to 1,000 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 100% of the USDA forecast with 22 weeks to go.
