Market Activity

Trading was quiet across much of the market today with the exception of yellow grease trading steady on the topside of the range, $0.2500 FOB NY and back up to $0.2500 FOB IL. Sources have reported that biodiesel buyers are taking long positions in the bean oil market. The cash price of $0.2937 Central Illinois would certainly be enticing against present fat values as is the CME price of $0.3162.
