The protein market was quiet to start the week with no trading reported. Sources continue to echo the sentiments of the past week in regards to the ruminant market, i.e. non-pet food prices are in the $245 – 265 range.

Protein values were mostly flat last week. Ruminant MBM trading continues in a wide range, anywhere from $245 – 285.  The weekly average was the big mover, up $6 compared to the week prior. Sellers in the non-pure beef arena are reporting…
